We’re excited to introduce Avi Satov as Camp Director. With 14 years of camp staff experience under his belt, including five summers directing one of Quebec’s largest camps, Avi brings lots of youthful energy, enthusiasm and a love of children to the role. With a B.Ed from McGill University, Avi spends the offseason as one of the most popular teachers at Montreal’s Bialik High School, where he complements his academic duties with coaching multiple sport teams. Avi’s philosophy of caring for campers with compassion and teaching them values, makes him an excellent addition to our leadership team.
Head Counsellor Daniel “D-Brave” Braverman, marks his 7th summer on staff and 15th summer at camp. Graduating this year from Ontario’s Queen’s University, Dan’s friendly, hands-on approach to campers and staff alike has made him a popular role model for all.
Assistant Director, Emerson Thomas, is an 18-year Pripstein’s veteran. Emerson is the Athletic Director at Montreal’s Bialik High School, a former all-Canadian basketball star at Concordia University and captain of his team in the Swiss pro league. He has served almost two decades as our Head Counsellor before moving up to Assistant Director.
Ronnie Braverman, who directed the camp for 32 years, continues to help out in many areas. Ronnie loves working with those campers needing some extra TLC, developing new facilities, managing the day-to-day business and logistical details.....and of course, playing a rockin’ electric bass guitar in the band at our legendary Friday night sing-songs!
